AEROSMITH: Drummer JOEY KRAMER TO Sit Out Upcoming Tour?

September 30, 2005

According to The Boston Globe, word is drummer Joey Kramer may not be with AEROSMITH when the band hits the road next month to promote their new live CD "Rockin' the Joint". Kramer, who attended the Boston Music Awards the other night, is recovering from a shoulder injury, so the band will play without him, at least temporarily. One possible replacement is Kramer's son, Jesse.

As previously reported, AEROSMITH have tapped LENNY KRAVITZ as the opening act for a fall North American tour, which will kick off with an October 30-November 1 stand in Uncasville, Conn.

AEROSMITH's DualDisc release "Rockin' the Joint" is due October 25 via Columbia. The album features highlights from a January 11, 2002, club show at the Las Vegas venue of the same name.
