AEROSMITH Frontman Sings 'God Bless America' At BOSTON RED SOX Home Opener

According to the World Entertainment News Network (WENN),AEROSMITH frontman Steven Tyler made his official return to public life on Sunday night (April 4) when he sang "God Bless America" at the Boston Red Sox home baseball opener against the New York Yankees.

The hometown hero was joined by his daughter Chelsea as he belted out the anthem during the game's seventh inning stretch.

It marked Tyler's first stage appearance since checking out of rehab for an addiction to painkillers.

AEROSMITH recently announced a total of 11 shows for its European trip, with stops in Romania, Greece, Holland, Belgium, France, Italy and the Czech Republic added to previously revealed gigs in Sweden, Spain and the U.K.

There's no word on whether the band will re-launch the U.S. trek with ZZ TOP that was scrapped midway through last summer when Steven Tyler injured himself in a fall from the stage, which began a troubled six-month period for the group.

The singer subsequently announced his intention to take a two-year break from AEROSMITH and focus on a solo project, which in turn led the rest of the band to publicly discuss getting a new frontman.

Tyler entered rehab in December for an addiction to painkillers, and his management and attorneys threatened legal action if AEROSMITH went forward with finding a new singer.
