AEROSMITH: No Plans To Reschedule Pensacola Date
June 27, 2006PensacolaNewsJournal.com is reporting that AEROSMITH have no plans to play in Pensacola, Florida this fall after they cancelled a show there last winter.
The rockers called off their March 4 concert at the Pensacola Civic Center because of a member's unspecified illness. The remainder of the group's North American tour was canceled a couple weeks later when singer Steven Tyler underwent surgery, reportedly after he suffered a broken blood vessel in his voice box.
"We haven't heard from AEROSMITH's management since they canceled, and we don't have anything in the works right now to get them back here," said Summer Jimmerson, Civic Center marketing director.
AEROSMITH are currently recording their new album with producer Steve Lillywhite, who has previously worked with U2 and MORRISSEY.
