AEROSMITH Not Retiring Anytime Soon

Launch Radio Networks reports: AEROSMITH is still going strong more than 30 years into their career, and they have no plans to stop anytime soon. The band took part in a national radio call-in show last night (Thursday, June 22),and lead singer Steven Tyler said, "What else are we gonna do? When (lead guitarist) Joe Perry hits the stage, it makes you want to boil your sneakers and make soup out of your girlfriend's panties!" Tyler was joking (we think.....),but he also said, "We live to play," and he thanked the fans "for keeping us alive like this and loving it so much."

AEROSMITH is currently recording a new album. They initially thought it would be ready in time for their fall tour with MÖTLEY CRÜE, but Perry said it wouldn't be out until the spring of 2007.

The AEROSMITH/MÖTLEY CRÜE "Route Of All Evil" tour starts September 14 in Holmdel, New Jersey. They have dates booked through November 24 in West Palm Beach, Florida, and it's expected that more shows will be added.
