AEROSMITH's KRAMER, ALICE COOPER To Guest On SPEED TV's 'Barrett-Jackson Special Edition'

AEROSMITH drummer Joey Kramer will join Alice Cooper, BEACH BOYS' Al Jardine, ALABAMA's Randy Owen and Ernie Hudson ("Ghostbusters") on Speed TV's "Barrett-Jackson Special Edition - Celebrity Cars" premiering Monday, December 20, 2010 at 9:00 p.m. ET.

Kramer told Spinner in a recent interview that he and the rest of his AEROSMITH bandmates are planning on releasing a new studio album in 2011. "I would like to see a record within a year from the AEROSMITH boys," he said. "My brothers and I are destined to make another record in the next year or so.

"It's going to be an old-school AEROSMITH record," he added. "We're going to do it the old way with the whole band [in the same room] and it should be a good one. We're all anticipating."

AEROSMITH wrapped up a summer tour in mid-September, shortly after the news broke about singer Steven Tyler's "American Idol" gig.

Plans for the group to record a new album following the tour are on hold, although Tyler has said he can handle both jobs.

Tyler's acceptance of the "Idol" job capped a turbulent 12-month period for the group during which a stage injury to Tyler led to a canceled tour, a trip to rehab for the singer, and threats by the rest of the band to find a new vocalist.
