AEROSMITH To Headline Hyde Park Event

February 19, 2007

According to NME.com, AEROSMITH will headline the first day of the Hyde Park Calling concerts.

The two-day mini-festival will take place on June 23 and 24, with the Steven Tyler-fronted rock legends to headline on June 24. It will be first time the band have played the U.K. in eight years.

In a statement, guitarist Joe Perry said: "It's been way too long since we've played the U.K. and Europe. Some of the most unforgettable gigs in my life have been played to incredible European fans. You know, eight years is a long time in the world of rock and roll."

The headliner for the June 23 show and the supporting bands are yet to be announced.

Tickets for the June 24, AEROSMITH-headlining show go on sale on Friday (February 23) at 9:00 a.m.
