AEROSMITH's STEVEN TYLER To Perform At HOWARD STERN's 60th-Birthday Bash

January 14, 2014

According to Billboard.com, AEROSMITH singer Steven Tyler is among the artists who will perform at the 60th-birthday celebration of radio legend Howard Stern. The show will be presented by SiriusXM and hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, and it will take place at the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York City.

"[Tyler is] going to be performing with someone very special," said Stern. "There's a lot of superstars coming, but I am a huge, huge fan of AEROSMITH's and of Steven's. I love the way he interprets a song, and to have him there that night performing is fantastic."

Tyler is reportedly working on a solo album, tentatively due later this year.

The AEROSMITH singer issued his first-ever solo song, called "(It) Feels So Good", in May 2011 while serving as a judge on "American Idol".

AEROSMITH's latest album, "Music From Another Dimension!", came out in November 2012 and debuted at No. 5 on The Billboard 200 album chart, selling 63,000 copies in its first week of release.
