AGAINST THE PLAGUES Vocalist Joins VEX

April 9, 2008

AGAINST THE PLAGUES lead vocalist Orlando Logan Perez has joined the Texas metal band VEX, winners of the Xtreme Texas Metal "band of the year" in 2006.

Commented Orlando: "I am honored to be working with such great musicians and great long-time friends that share similar visions, philosophies, and burdens. Although my work with VEX will be significantly different than that of AGAINST THE PLAGUES, I believe it will present a similar spirit of aggression, harmony, and intellectualism."

VEX's full-length debut, entitled "Thanatopsis", is expected to be released this summer. A second album will follow early next year. In 2007,

VEX completed a U.S. tour supporting AVENGER OF BLOOD and GODLESS RISING.
