AGE OF SILENCE: Working On New Product Of 'Epic Proportions'

April 8, 2005

AGE OF SILENCE, the Norwegian band featuring Lazare (BORKNAGAR, SOLEFALD),Hellhammer (WINDS, ARCTURUS, MAYHEM) and Eikind (KHOLD, TULUS),among others, have issued a brief statement regarding their current status and future plans. It reads as follows:

"We will make no attempt to apologize for the last six months' hiatus.

"We have been deeply entrenched in the product development chambers of the AGE OF SILENCE headquarters, which lies in an undisclosed location somewhere between your world and ours.

"It has been decided that the next product will be a grand gesture of EPic proportions, so read into that what you will, and prepare for the next step in our crusade."

AGE OF SILENCE's debut album, "Acceleration", was released last September via The End Records. The CD was recorded in part at Norway's Toproom studio and was mixed at The Factory in Canada by producer Andy Winter and mixing engineer Sheldon Zaharko (MARILYN MANSON). The "Acceleration" artwork was conceived by Travis Smith. Download an MP3 of the track "The Concept of Haste" at this location.
