AGGRESSION CORE Part With Founding Member

September 24, 2002

AGGRESSION CORE, the Washington-based band that features in its ranks former NEVERMORE and current ANNIHILATOR guitarist Curran Murphy, have parted ways with "founding member, chief songwriter, and drummer" Dale Puckett.

"After the completion of their sophomore CD, Victim or Enemy, Dale was ousted just days before their US tour was to begin earlier this summer and no definitive reason [for his ousting] was given by the remaining members of AGGRESSION CORE," reads an official statement from Puckett. "This came as a big surprise to Dale and everyone close to AGGRESSION CORE as he created the band, the name, and was the driving force behind their sound. After careful consideration of his choices and checking out numerous national, international, and local band job offers, he has decided to join Seattle's own FURY 161, featuring other former AGGRESSION CORE members Jeff Bloomfield and Joe Jauregui."

"I look forward to being able to showcase other aspects of my 17 years of drumming skills with F161," stated Dale. "My drumming in AC was pretty much a brutal thrash assault from start to finish, and that's the way I wanted it. But now that I am free of my own vision of what AC should be, I can't wait to pummel my loyal fans in ways they never knew I could."

For a limited time, Puckett's resume, along with AGGRESSION CORE song samples, can be viewed/heard at this location.
