AGNOSTIC FRONT: 'That's Life' Video Released
March 23, 2011"That's Life", the new video from New York hardcore legends AGNOSTIC FRONT, can be viewed below. The clip was directed by Brian Darwas.
AGNOSTIC FRONT vocalist Roger Miret recently stated about the lyrical inspiration behind "That's Life", "In today's society, everyone is so busy behind their computer screens. Spreading hate and just bull shit behind their Internet walls. We speak about the youth getting sucked into this way of life and not dealing with real-life situations the way we did as kids."
"That's Life" comes off AGNOSTIC FRONT's new album, "My Life My Way", which was released on March 4 in Europe and March 22 in North America via Nuclear Blast Records. The CD was recorded at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida and features 13 new powerful and anthemic songs laid down by Erik Rutan (MADBALL, GOATWHORE, CANNIBAL CORPSE, etc.) under the watchful guide of producer Freddy Cricien of MADBALL. The record was mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (SEPULTURA, SUFFOCATION, UNEARTH) in New Windsor, New York.
The "My Life My Way" cover artwork was brought to life this time by artist Todd Hubber, who also works with vocalist Roger Miret on designing his street wear clothing line American Made Kustom.
"The concept was to capture the D.I.Y. ethic and crude themed artistry of the early punk flyers, with a nod to the era of crime and pulp comic themes of the early '50s," says Hubber. "Society deemed those materials as having no social redeeming values, and as a contributor to youth delinquency. Similarly outcasted were punk and hardcore in the early day for its aggressive, anti-authority message, and dangerous aura.
"'My Life My Way' is a throwback to the early days, and AGNOSTIC FRONT has proven that what society deems unredeeming, has been, still is, and will continue to be relevant."

Commented AGNOSTIC FRONT vocalist Roger Miret: "After all is said and done, we are amazed on how great our new record turned out! It's by far our catchiest record to date and it's going to make everyone want to sing along for sure. Freddy killed it on the production end, just capturing that hardcore vibe that only he can get out of AGNOSTIC FRONT. The boys all put nothing but passion into the songs, and Erik Rutan just dialed it all in to make AGNOSTIC FRONT sound as natural and as organic as ever. This one will definitely be a classic once it's heard worldwide!"
