AGRACEFUL: New Song Posted Online

July 28, 2008

A new AGRACEFUL track entitled "Stygiophobia" has been posted on the band's MySpace page. The song comes off the melodic hardcore/screamo outfit's new album, "The Great I Am", due on August 19 via Sumerian Records. Guitarist Kasey commented on the song selection: "We chose 'Stygiophobia' because the other songs that were posted, 'A Prophecy: In Reverie' and 'The Messengers Are Winds Part 1', were both more melodic songs, where 'Stygiophobia' is a much heavier song. We wanted to show everyone that our new record had more body to it, in a sense we wanted to show them the other side of AGRACEFUL."

AGRACEFUL will hit the road with OH, SLEEPER for a two-week Midwest and East Coast run which will include stops at two big Christian music festivals, the Purple Door Festival in Lewisberry, PA and Taking Back The Streets Festival in Pilot Mountain, NC.

"We're very excited about touring with OH, SLEEPER," stated Kasey. "We were asked when we were gearing up for the album to come out to make a list of bands we would like to tour with, and they were right at the top. Given our style, we thought it would be a perfect tour for us to be on with the release of the album coming up. Joe, our other guitarist, is a big fan of their work as well, so it's a great situation all the way around."
