ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY recently filmed the first video from its forthcoming record, "Open Fire". The video, for the track "Words of the Dying Man", was shot in a "houseparty" setting in the band's hometown of Richmond, VA with local creative collective Day By Day (LAMB OF GOD, MUNICIPAL WASTE).

Commented ALABAMA THUNDERPUSSY drummer Bryan Cox: "It'll be nothing too fancy or cerebral because, well, that's not what we do. The goal for this thing is have something entertaining and fun to watch."

Due on March 6 via Relapse Records, "Open Fire" was recorded at The Etching Tin Studios in Richmond, VA with engineer Ian Whalen and is the group's first record to feature new vocalist Kyle Thomas (ex-EXHORDER, FLOODGATE). Check out the cover artwork at this location. Two songs from the CD — "None Shall Return" and "Words of the Dying Man" — can be heard on the band's official MySpace page.
