ALEISTER C. Completing Work On New Album

July 16, 2004

Brazilian extreme metallers ALEISTER C. are putting the finishing touches on their new CD, "Spiritual". Production for the album is taking place at the Mr. Som studio by the band themselves, with co-production by Marcello Pompeu and Heros Trench (of KORZUS fame),who have worked with RATOS DE PORÃO, AÇÃO DIRETA, AGNOSTIC FRONT and VARUKERS, just to name a few. The CD will contain 14 songs (10 brand new ones, plus 4 "bonus tracks", taken from their "Struggle For Life" opus),and a multimedia track containing the video for the song "Stroke" (recognized by MTV Brazil as one of the outstanding independent videos of 2001). The cover art for "Spiritual" was done by Marcos Cerutti, a local artist who has previously worked with the likes of TRANSFIXION, TORTURE SQUAD, BY WAR and CARPATUS.

ALEISTER C., who are currently unsigned, cite NAPALM DEATH, MACHINE HEAD and SLAYER as some of their biggest influences, but "tend to never emulate other bands and/or styles," according to a press release
