ALICE COOPER Joins LITTLE STEVEN's Underground Garage With New Weekly SiriusXM Show

October 6, 2026

Alice Cooper is joining Little Steven's Underground Garage. The Rock And Roll Hall Of Famer will launch his own weekly show on SiriusXM's Little Steven's Underground Garage (Channel 21) beginning Saturday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m. ET, bringing his music, stories and unmistakable perspective to the channel created by Stevie Van Zandt as a home for rock and roll past, present and future.

Van Zandt and Cooper revealed the news to listeners earlier today during a SiriusXM Town Hall marking the release of Cooper's new memoir, "Devil On My Shoulder", out today. The announcement came at the end of their conversation, when the two shared that Cooper would officially be joining the Underground Garage family. The interview aired on Little Steven's Underground Garage and is available on demand through the SiriusXM app.

Each week, Cooper will dig into the Underground Garage's expansive playlist, add some of his own selections, and share personal stories from a career spent at the center of rock and roll. With more than five decades of music, friendships and experiences to draw from, Cooper will bring listeners his own perspective on the artists and records he plays and the stories behind them.

"The greatest radio station in the Universe just got better!" said Van Zandt. "It is an honor to have Alice Cooper finally arrive where he's always belonged! The Underground Garage is all about the coolest music and DJs telling first person stories," he continues. "I just finished his new book 'Devil On My Shoulder' and believe me, nobody has better stories than Alice. And some of them are even true! Welcome to the family!"

"Longtime listener, first-time DJ!" adds Cooper. "Little Steven's Underground Garage has been locked into my presets for years, and I look forward to being a part of the gang in the garage. Stay tuned as I will be telling tales, tall and not so tall, and sharing some of the best music ever recorded."

Van Zandt launched Little Steven's Underground Garage in 2002 with the simple mission to put rock and roll back on the radio and give new bands a place alongside the artists who built it. The nationally syndicated show became the foundation for a larger Underground Garage universe, and in 2004 Van Zandt created SiriusXM's 24/7 Underground Garage channel.

Today, the channel moves freely across generations of rock and roll, putting pioneers including Chuck Berry, Little Richard and Bo Diddley alongside the British Invasion, garage rock, punk, power pop and emerging artists carrying the music forward. Throughout its history, Underground Garage has helped introduce hundreds of new bands while giving its DJs room to bring their own stories, personalities and musical histories to the air.

Cooper now becomes the latest voice to join that tradition.

Alice Cooper's new weekly show premieres Saturday, October 10 at 4:00 p.m. ET on Little Steven's Underground Garage, SiriusXM Channel 21, with an encore airing Sunday, October 11 at 9:00 p.m. ET. New episodes will continue in those time slots each week.

For more than five decades, Alice Cooper has defined and continually reinvented the possibilities of theatrical rock. Drawing from horror films, vaudeville, garage rock and hard rock, he pioneered a stage spectacle of guillotines, electric chairs, fake blood, boa constrictors and dark humor that earned him the title "architect of shock rock" and influenced generations of artists who followed.

Born in Detroit and raised in Phoenix, Cooper formed the original Alice Cooper band with his high school friends. After signing with Frank Zappa's Straight Records in 1969, the band began a career-defining collaboration with producer Bob Ezrin. Their breakthrough came with 1971's "Love It To Death", followed by "Killer", "School's Out", "Billion Dollar Babies" and "Muscle Of Love", with increasingly elaborate live shows establishing Alice Cooper as one of rock's most provocative and unmistakable performers.

In 1975, Cooper launched his solo career with "Welcome To My Nightmare", pairing the landmark album with an ambitious theatrical tour and television special. Decades of recording and touring followed, including 1989's "Trash" and its worldwide hit "Poison".

Cooper's impact extends well beyond the stage and recording studio. His film appearances include memorable turns in "Wayne's World", Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" and "Freddy's Dead: The Final Nightmare", and in 2018, he appeared as King Herod in NBC's live production of "Jesus Christ Superstar". His life and career have also been chronicled in the documentary "Super Duper Alice Cooper" and his 2007 memoir "Golf Monster". In 2011, Alice Cooper was inducted into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame alongside original band members Dennis Dunaway, Neal Smith, Michael Bruce and the late Glen Buxton.

More than 50 years after their landmark early records, the surviving members of the original ALICE COOPER band reunited for "The Revenge Of Alice Cooper", their first new album together since 1973 and another collaboration with longtime producer Bob Ezrin.

Cooper also remains a fixture on radio. His nightly syndicated show, "Alice's Attic", airs in markets around the world, mixing classic rock with stories drawn from a lifetime spent at the center of the genre. His work in broadcasting earned him induction into the Radio Hall Of Fame in 2025. He also co-hosts the monthly SiriusXM golf show "Rolling The Rock With Alice And Rocco" with professional golfer Rocco Mediate.

In October 2026, Cooper releases "Devil On My Shoulder", a new autobiography offering an unfiltered account of his life and career. With touring scheduled across the United States, Australia and Europe through 2027, Cooper continues to record, perform and bring the theatrical rock spectacle he created to audiences around the world.

Created by Stevie Van Zandt, Little Steven's Underground Garage celebrates the past, present and future of rock and roll, bringing together the music that built the genre with the artists carrying it forward. Launched as a nationally syndicated radio show in 2002, Underground Garage expanded to SiriusXM in 2004 as one of the service's first 24/7 branded music channels. The channel combines rock and roll across generations with DJs whose firsthand stories and personalities are as much a part of the experience as the music itself.
