ALICE IN CHAINS has announced the dates and venues for a new North American tour that will kick off on February 2 in Vancouver, Canada, wrapping up on March 21 in St. Paul, Minnesota. This round of dates is the group's latest in support of its first studio album in 14 years, "Black Gives Way To Blue", which arrived in September and features the recording debut with the band of singer and guitarist William DuVall.

The band has just released a new single called "Your Decision" for rock radio, with a video available via iTunes. The slower, acoustic-based number is reminiscent of earlier ALICE material in the same vein, but DuVall told The Pulse of Radio that he thinks the album "moves the ball forward" musically for the band. "It absolutely moves the ball forward, absolutely, and we wouldn't have done it otherwise, if we didn't think that we had a shot at moving the ball forward," he said. "I mean, that's totally been the goal from day one and I think it's achieved, you know. I think it adds to, it builds upon what's there."

Before the tour begins, ALICE IN CHAINS will play radio festivals in Las Vegas on December 11 and Los Angeles on December 12.

ALICE IN CHAINS is currently in Europe and finishes its stint there with a show tonight (Monday, December 7) in London.
