ALL SHALL PERISH Releases First New Single In 15 Years, Launches Fundraising Campaign For Comeback Album
September 5, 2026Northern California extreme metallers ALL SHALL PERISH have released their first new single in 15 years, "Be As Kings, Be As Gods". The track was produced by Zack Ohren (MACHINE HEAD, FALLUJAH) and was made available via Arson Theory, the new music company co-founded by ALL SHALL PERISH frontman Hernan "Eddie" Hermida.
ALL SHALL PERISH has just launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund the making of the band's first new album since 2011.
In a message on the Kickstarter page, ALL SHALL PERISH wrote: "Back after all these years. Ready to produce a NEW ALBUM, WITH YOUR HELP! And… WE DID NOT COME EMPTY HANDED! WE HAVE A NEW SONG!!!!"
The group continued: "Fifteen years, FIFTEEN YEARS you have been waiting for new music. Every single day on the internets, you let us know that just disappearing was unacceptable, you never let us forget that you were there, waiting…..thanks for that [by the way]…it kept us going through these seemingly endless years of lawsuits, fights, and setbacks."
ALL SHALL PERISH is planning to make the new album independently, saying that the band is currently without a record label or manager, and promising to release a second new song if the $75,000 goal is met.
According to ALL SHALL PERISH, the funds from the Kickstarter campaign will be used in the following way:
Finish recording: $30,000 (40%)
Videos: $18,000 (24%)
Promotion: $8,250 (11%)
Contingency: $7,000 (9%)
Mastering: $5,000 (7%)
Platform fees: $6,750 (9%)
Total goal: $75,000 (100%)
ALL SHALL PERISH has just embarked on "The Price Of Existence 20 Year Anniversary" tour. The trek, which launched on September 4 in Fresno, California and will conclude on October 3 in San Jose, California, celebrates the twentieth anniversary of ALL SHALL PERISH's second album, "The Price Of Existence", which came out in 2006 via Nuclear Blast. The LP was the band's first to feature Hermida and lead guitarist Chris Storey.
ALL SHALL PERISH's current touring lineup consists of Hermida, guitarists Storey and Ben Orum, bassist Adrian Oropeza and drummer Andrew Baird.
Back in October 2013, then-ALL SHALL PERISH bassist Mike Tiner told Metal Injection that the band had no choice but to fire Hermida after the singer joined SUICIDE SILENCE as the replacement for the late Mitch Lucker.
In October 2015, ALL SHALL PERISH announced the return of Hermida and Storey, alongside founding members Matthew Kuykendall, Caysen Russo and Orum. The group's press release noted that original vocalist Craig Betit would participate in some fashion as well. The band stated that Tiner declined a personal invitation to participate.
