All-Star Metalcore Band DOOM DAY Releases Debut Album

DOOM DAY is an "all-star" metalcore band with members from London, Sofia and Berlin. The quartet consists of guitarist Gizz Butt (ex-THE PRODIGY, ENGLISH DOGS),drummer Robin Guy (ex-BRUCE DICKINSON, THE BUSINESS),bass player Volcan "Audiocleaner" Tuereli (JAYLAN),and Bulgarian frontman Alexander "Shutta" Parvanov (BROTHERS IN BLOOD, SHE WAS ASKING FOR IT, ex-VENDETTA).

DOOM DAY was formed in December 2005. During the next year they recorded a demo and worked on their full-length debut album, "Count Your Useless Hours", which is being released today, February 23 via Swell Creek/Superhero Records. The CD was mastered by Andy Sneap and features guest appearances by Kid D (RYKER'S),Sal (SWORN ENEMY),Bruce (100 DEMONS),Rick (25 TA LIFE) and Burkhard (HATE SQUAD).
