ALL THAT REMAINS To Enter Studio In March

ALL THAT REMAINS, the Massachusetts-based act featuring former SHADOWS FALL vocalist Philip Labonte, will enter the studio on March 8 with producer Adam Dutkiewicz (KILLSWITCH ENGAGE) to begin recording their third album, tentatively due this summer via Prosthetic Records. "I think everyone will be pleased with what's been created," said drummer Shannon Lucas. "It's definitely the heaviest and most aggressive thing ALL THAT REMAINS has ever done along with the most poppy and soft thing as well. We believe that the material covers enough ground that it should have something to offer to everyone. ALL THAT REMAINS is pretty excited about it so please be patient. We are working as hard as we can."

In a recent interview with Australia's Inside_Out666, Labonte had the following to say about the band's upcoming CD: "We have one song title, 'This Calling'. It's a song we were playing on the ARCH ENEMY tour this past November. That one will stay pretty much unchanged for the record. As for artwork, we are going with Travis Smith. He did the 'Natural Born Chaos' cover for SOILWORK; he's worked for STRAPPING YOUNG LAD, SUFFOCATION, a ton of great art. I can't wait to see stuff because I only spoke to him a few days ago."

ALL THAT REMAINS' sophomore album, "This Darkened Heart", is available now on Prosthetic Records. The follow-up to 2002's "Behind Silence and Solitude" was also produced by Dutkiewicz.
