ALLHELLUJA Parts Ways With Singer JACOB BREDAHL; New Lineup Announced

December 9, 2008

ALLHELLUJA, the Italian project featuring Stefano Longhi from Scarlet Records, has issued the following update:

"ALLHELLUJA are busy in the studio in Milan completing their new album, a sonic apocalypse rising from the most brutal and corrosive death and roll with groovy stoner/doom influences and the usual horror-gloomy blast! 'Breath Your Soul', the confirmed title of the new effort, which is going to be released in March 2009 on Scarlet Records, adds new, talented musicians to the ranks of the band: Trevor (SADIST) and GL Perotti (EXTREMA) on vocals and Tommy Massara (EXTREMA) on guitars in the place of singer Jacob Bredahl [former HATESPHERE frontman who sang on the first two ALLHELLUJA albums] and guitarist Massimo Gajer."

Commented Longhi: "Finally ALLHELLUJA are coming back and I can say that with this album we've reached our best potential. The legacy of the band is strengthen by our friendship, our humility and, mostly, our crazy talent, making 'Breath Your Soul' something really unique. Roby [Gelli, bass] and I, along with Tommy, have worked for months on the new songs, giving justice to the sonic assault that makes ALLHELLUJA such a diverse act from anything else around. And what can I say about Trevor and GL… Those guys simply are what we needed to close the circle! I think that ALLHELLUJA are, in this particular moment, a very 'strange' mix of bands such as ENTOMBED, CARCASS, BLACK SABBATH, CORROSION OF CONFORMITY, KYUSS, DOWN, MASTODON and SLIPKNOT.

"Jacob and I have decided to part our ways to be able to concentrate in a better way on our busy lives… Jacob can now focus himself on LAST MILE and I can do the same with ALLHELLUJA, in total freedom, without compromising the friendship that still exists among us. ALLHELLUJA will never delude all the people who've supported us till this moment!"

ALLHELLUJA's video for the song "Superhero Motherfucker Superman" can be viewed below. The clip was shot on October 21, 2006 in the Arizona desert with renowed artist/director Chad Michael Ward (whose previous collaborations include such artists as MARILYN MANSON, BILLY IDOL and SLASH, among others).

ALLHELLUJA's sophomore album, "Pain is the Game", was released in September 2006 via Scarlet. The CD features "amazing artwork" by Chad Michael Ward. Jacob Bredahl produced the album once again and Tue Madsen (THE HAUNTED, SICK OF IT ALL, HEAVEN SHALL BURN, MNEMIC) took care of the mastering duties.
