ALTER BRIDGE Announces U.K. Tour
April 13, 2010ALTER BRIDGE will return to the U.K. this October to tour the country once again in support of the band's forthcoming third studio album.
After a hugely successful U.K. tour in support of its second LP, "Blackbird", in November 2008, ALTER BRIDGE — Myles Kennedy, Mark Tremonti, Brian Marshall and Scott Philips — has been busy. As well as writing a brand new CD, the band has been pursuing individual projects — Myles has co-written and lent his vocals to two tracks from the new album from ex-GUNS N' ROSES guitarist Slash, which has been met with huge acclaim from both fans and critics alike. Myles is also going to be joining Slash on tour as vocalist when the rock legend tours his new album this summer. Meanwhile, Tremonti, Marshall and Philips have reunited with ex-bandmate Scott Stapp to reform their previous band CREED.
But with a brand new album to add to its spectacular arsenal, ALTER BRIDGE cannot wait to come back to the U.K. to wow fans up and down the country once again with its captivating blend of crowd pleasing, fist-pumping anthems and raw, life-affirming ballads.
Speaking on the band’s October tour, Myles Kennedy had the following to say: "We can't wait to get back and share the new songs with our friends in the U.K. It's going to be a great run!"
