AMARANTHE Performs Acoustically On Japanese Radio; Audio Available

AMARANTHE the project featuring Olof Mrck (NIGHTRAGE, DRAGONLAND),Jake E (ex-DREAM EVIL, DREAMLAND),Andy Solvestrm (WITHIN Y, EVILDOER, CIPHER SYSTEM),Morten Lowe Sorensen (THE ARCANE ORDER, SUBMISSION) and Johan Andreassen (ex-ENGEL) performed acoustically on the July 3 edition of the Japanese radio program Bay FM "Power Rock Today". In other news, AMARANTHE has been confirmed for this year's edition of the Loud Park festival, set to take place October 15, 2011 at Saitama Super Arena, a multi-purpose indoor arena located in Saitama City, Japan.

AMARANTHE's self-titled debut album was released in Europe on April 13 via Spinefarm Records.

AMARANTHE recently started filming its second video with acclaimed director Patric Ullaeus of Revolver Film Company, who has previously worked with DIMMU BORGIR, LACUNA COIL, IN FLAMES, SONIC SYNDICATE and KAMELOT, among others.

AMARANTHE vocalist Elize Ryd was selected to fill the female singer spot on KAMELOT's recent European and South American tours.

Elize previously performed with KAMELOT on last year's "Summer Pandemonium Tour" and the band's European trek in April/May 2010.
