AMEN Officially Part With Virgin Records
March 4, 2002AMEN have officially announced their split with Virgin Records following the lackluster sales performance of their sophomore effort, We Have Come For Your Parents (which has shifted 15,789 copies in the US, according to Soundscan). AMEN frontman Casey Chaos stated: "we would like to thank all the past and present employees at Virgin for the last 2 years of hard work and dedication. Congratulations with putting up with us for that long! We wish you all the best in your new direction".
AMEN have completed work on their as-yet-untitled third studio album, due for release later this year, and they have just returned from Australia where they played at the Big Day Out festivals to rave reviews.
AMEN will remain signed to Ross Robinson's I Am imprint via a partnership with an as-yet-undetermined major label.
