AMEN To Release New Single In March

January 29, 2004

AMEN will release their comeback single, "California's Bleeding", in the U.K. on March 15, according to NME.com.

The California-based outfit will follow-up the single with "Death Before Musick" on March 29 (May 18 in the U.S.) — their first album since 2000's "We Have Come For Your Parents".

The CD was produced by AMEN singer Casey Chaos, mixed by Mike Frasier (AC/DC) and Joe Barresi (QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE),and recorded between mid-2002 and late 2003 in various Los Angeles recording studios, garages, and private homes.

"Death Before Musick" will be released through EatUrMusic — an imprint of Columbia Records owned by SYSTEM OF A DOWN guitarist Daron Malakian.

Malakian met Chaos when both bands played at Australia's Big Day Out festival in 2002 and the guitarist made AMEN his first signing.

"California's Bleeding" will be available on CD and 7" colored vinyl.
