AMERICAN DOG: 'Devil Dog' Video Released

March 26, 2013

"Devil Dog", the new video from Columbus, Ohio's AMERICAN DOG, can be seen below. The song comes off the band's latest studio album, "Poison Smile". Filmed at the Alrosa Villa in Columbus, the Rob Kern-directed (From Out Of Nowhere) clip is being released in advance of a run of shows that sees the band playing with acts such as AIRBOURNE, FASTER PUSSYCAT and TUFF.

"Devil Dog" is the second video from "Poison Smile". The first clip — for the song "Just Like Charlie Sheen" — landed in Classic Rock magazine's Top 30 Music Videos Of 2012.

"We've been working on new material for another new studio record, but 'Poison Smile' is still selling well," says AMERICAN DOG frontman Michael Hannon, "So we figured we'd just keep pushing the damn thing and play more shows behind it!"

AMERICAN DOG's April 6 headline performance at Route 33-Rhythm and Brews includes special guest, heavy metal journalist/author Martin Popoff. Martin will be on hand to emcee the show and autograph copies of his latest biographies on TED NUGENT, THIN LIZZY and SCORPIONS along with a dozen of his other books covering the world of hard rock and metal.
