September 12, 2006

Heavy-handed Chicago, IL trio AMERICAN HERITAGE has uploaded a new track, entitled "Toilet Paper and Leotards", to the band's MySpace page. The song comes from AMERICAN HERITAGE's new album, "Millenarian", which will see a September 19 release via Translation Loss Records and RED Distribution.

"Millenarian" was recorded and mixed at Chicago's Volume Studios (PELICAN, BURIED AT SEA) by Sanford Parker and AMERICAN HERITAGE and was mastered by Scott Hull (ZOMBI, THE ACCUSED) at Visceral Sound.

In other news, AMERICAN HERITAGE has announced a number of live performances in support of "Millenarian". The band has lined up a hometown CD release show, which will see them take the stage alongside BLACKFIRE REVELATION and ELDERS. The show will take place on Sunday, September 17 at Chicago's Subterranean. AMERICAN HERITAGE will also embark on a string of east coast U.S. live dates in early November including a high-profile appearance at the 2006 CMJ Music Marathon, where the band will team up with Translation Loss labelmates MOUTH OF THE ARCHITECT and ROSETTA.
