AMERICAN HERITAGE Set Release Date For 'Millenarian'

June 28, 2006

Philadelphia independent record label Translation Loss has set a September 19 release date for "Millenarian", the new album from heralded Chicago, IL-based trio AMERICAN HERITAGE.

AMERICAN HERITAGE deliver "uncompromising and unconventional heavy music that seamlessly blends crushing, punishing riffs, dizzying composition and pummeling rhythms and structures," according to a press release. Formed in 1997, the band's unique amalgamation of instrumental metal, noise and punk quickly gained both the attention and respect of the underground heavy music scene(s). Vocals were welcomed into the AMERICAN HERITAGE aesthetic for the first time on the band's critically acclaimed 2003 spilt 7" with like-minded heavy hitters MASTODON.

Recorded and mixed at Chicago's Volume Studios (BUZZOVEN, PELICAN, BURIED AT SEA, SWEET COBRA) by Sanford Parker and AMERICAN HERITAGE and mastered by Scott Hull (THE BLACK DALHIA MURDER, ZOMBI, THE ACCUSED) at Visceral Sound, "Millenarian" delivers a heavyweight amalgam of technical prowess and focused power.
