AMON AMARTH Confirmed For Ireland's CORK WINTERFEST

Swedish Viking metallers AMON AMARTH have been confirmed for the Cork Winterfest 2008 festival, set to take place December 20 in Cork, Ireland. According to a press release, "What makes this show so special is that it is in front of just 250 people, and is [AMON AMARTH's] first and only confirmed Irish show so far in support of the 'Twilight of the Thunder God' album."

A total of 24 bands will grace the stage of An Cruiscin Lan over this Christmas weekend.

Tickets can now be purchased online at www.corkwinterfest.com for this year's installment, and will be available nationwide from October 1.
