AMORPHIS: 'Silent Waters' Enters German Chart At No. 44

AMORPHIS' new album, "Silent Waters", has entered the German Media Control chart at position No. 44.

As previously reported, "Silent Waters", is now available for streaming in its entirety at MP3.com. Due in North America September 18, the CD is the second AMORPHIS album to feature singer Tomi Joutsen (SINISTHRA). It was recorded at Sonic Pump studios in Helsinki, Finland. Mixing duties were handled by Mikko Karmila (NIGHTWISH, STRATOVARIUS) at Finnvox studios.

AMORPHIS will embark on a European tour in November. The first leg of the "Silent Waters European Tour" will take AMORPHIS to Germany, Switzerland, Holland, Belgium, Norway and Sweden before the band returns to Finland for a concert at Nosturi in Helsinki. Support on the trek will come from SWALLOW THE SUN and INSOMNIUM.

AMORPHIS' latest single, "Silent Waters", entered the Finnish chart at position No. 2. The video for the title cut can be viewed below.
