AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT: New EP Details Revealed

April 18, 2005

Former KITTIE guitarist Fallon Bowman has revealed the tentative track listing for the second AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT CD, tentatively due in June.

Commented Bowman: "I actually got a chance to add a new part to the last song on the upcoming EP. I'm really excited about it. If I come up with something good, usually I'll know it is so when I dance around like a fool. And I did that. Therefore, if no one else likes it, at least I know I do."

The EP's tentative track listing is as follows:

01. Tears In Rain
02. No Help From Above
03. Love Letters Addressed to Dying
04. CHEMLAB cover (TBA)
05. Deso
06. Konnichiwa!

With regards to the EP's title, Fallon wrote on her web site, "I was going to title the EP 'Obscene Gestures in Front of the Pope' but in respect to him and Catholics everywhere... I'll spare them the blasphemy. So no title yet. All of them are songs with singing in them. I may do a seventh instrumental, or a totally misplaced rock song. It's kind of up in the air right now; my exams are demanding my time lately, and then I go on the PIGFACE tour, then I go on vacation. So that leaves me about a month to finish the record, take pictures, and get it out to everyone. GAH!

"Hopefully I will get this released in time. O Bacchus, give me strength through mass amounts of wine!"

Bowman released the first AMPHIBIOUS ASSAULT CD, "District 6", in May 2003. The self-financed album featured a guest appearance by former KITTIE bassist Talena Atfield.
