ANATA Set Release Date For 'The Conductor's Departure'

Swedish tech-death masters ANATA will release "The Conductor's Departure" on June 12 via Wicked World/Earache.

Recorded at Studio Mega with Valle Adzic (THE CROWN, IMPIOUS, LAKE OF TEARS, BESEECH), "The Conductor's Departure" features "10 brand new tracks continuing the path that have seen the band likened to MESHUGGAH, THE DILLINGER ESCAPE PLAN, GOJIRA and NECROPHAGIST," according to a press release. "Merging blindingly technical riffing with an ear for melody, ANATA have gained a reputation for blatantly sidestepping the IN FLAMES imitation of their homeland. Instead, the band have found themselves mentioned as the missing link between death metal and the technical 'math-core' hardcore scene."

"The Conductor's Departure" track listing:

01. Downward Spiral into Madness
02. Complete Demise
03. Better Grieved Than Fooled
04. The Great Juggler
05. Cold Heart Forged in Hell
06. I Would Dream of Blood
07. Disobedience Pays
08. Children's Laughter
09. Renunciation
10. The Conductor's Departure
