ANCIENT CREATION Announces New Guitarist

April 5, 2009

Missouri-based traditional metal band ANCIENT CREATION has announced the addition of guitarist Ryan Bender to the group's ranks. The band says, "With Ryan we feel we are a complete unit once again and are looking forward to working on the follow-up to our Melissa Records debut CD, 'Evolution Bound'."

ANCIENT CREATION will enter the studio mid-April with engineer Doug Kenworthy (LOAD POINT PULL) and co-producer Mark "The Shark" Shelton (MANILLA ROAD) to begin recording its second album. The set will be mixed by Neil Kernon, who has previously worked with QUEENSRŸCHE, NEVERMORE and CANNIBAL CORPSE, among many others. The group says, "The CD is as dark as 'Evolution Bound', with titles as 'Moonlight Monument', 'Apocalypse' and 'Through Prophets Eyes'."

The band will make several festival appearances this year, including Kansas City Power Metal Fest in Missouri, Midwest Metal Anthem in Chicago and Warriors Of Metal Festival II in Ohio.

Upcoming ANCIENT CREATION shows:

May 13 - The Riot Room - Kansas City, MO
Jun. 06 - Warriors Of Metalfest - Waverly, Ohio
Jun. 27 - The Pig - Kansas City, MO
Aug. 14 - Kansas City Power Metal Fest - Kansas City, MO
Aug. 22 - Midwest Metal Anthem - Chicago, IL
