ANEW REVOLUTION's Fun Times On The Road

October 5, 2009

The sixth in a series of webisodes documenting ANEW REVOLUTION's life on the road and in the recording studio can be viewed below.

ANEW REVOLUTION is the Austin, Texas-based band featuring former members of SLAVES ON DOPE and UNLOCO.

The group will enter the Spider Studios in Strongsville, Ohio on October 13 to begin recording the follow-up to the group's 2008 Mudrock-produced (AVENGED SEVENFOLD, GODSMACK) debut, "Rise". Producing the effort will be Ben Schigel, who has previously worked with DROWNING POOL, WALLS OF JERICHO, CHIMAIRA and BREAKING POINT, among others. An early 2010 release via E1 Music (formerly KOCH Records) is expected.

Commented vocalist Joey Duenas: "I've known Ben for almost nine years touring and hitting the grind. He has a great ear and is perfect for what we are trying to achieve. I am totally stoked to be collaborating with him on this next record."

Added Schigel: "I am very excited to have ANEW REVOLUTION in the studio and I'm looking forward to making a great record!"

ANEW REVOLUTION released a self-titled EP soon after forming, selling out all five thousand copies they printed at shows and off of the Internet. The five-track release served as a strong introduction to fans and paved the way to their relationship with KOCH.
