ANGEL BLAKE: New MNEMIC Frontman Completing Vocals For Debut Album

Former TRANSPORT LEAGUE/current MNEMIC frontman Tony Jelencovich is scheduled to enter the studio today (Dec. 10) to complete the vocals for the upcoming debut album from ANGEL BLAKE, the new Swedish band formed by ex-THE CROWN guitarist Marko Tervonen. "I have so looked forward to this!!!" Tervonen writes on the group's web site. "I was in the studio [on Friday, Dec. 9] recalling the mix and preparing everything for [Saturday]. It was actually pretty cool to listen to the album again, I haven't done it since October. Damn, how time flies... During this 'break,' I have produced a demo for MASUGN and produced the debut album for STOLEN POLICECAR. The plan is to do the vocals, mix the album, master the CD and send it to Metal Blade Records before we go 2006. Diverse, heavy, catchy, melancholic, rockish sounds... and a few surprises... muahahaha...!"

As previously reported, ANGEL BLAKE recently launched a studio diary at www.angelblake.com to follow the progress of the recording sessions for the group's debut album. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Self-Terminate" (download mp3 of demo version),"Lycanthrope", "Solitude, My Friend", "Autumnal" and "Thousand Storms".

ANGEL BLAKE's debut album is being recorded at Tervonen's Studio MT, which is located three kilometers from Trollhättan, Sweden.
