ANGER AS ART: New Album To Be Produced By CHRIS TRENT

April 8, 2009

Los Angeles thrashers ANGER AS ART will enter the studio in May to begin recording their new album, "Disfigure", tentatively due this summer via via Old School Metal Records.

Commented vocalist/guitarist Steve Gaines: "It can now be stated that the next album, 'Disfigure', will be done with Chris Trent (producing and mixing) again — much to my relief. Chris has been there since the beginning of ANGER, and has always been thought of as a member — much like George Martin was to THE BEATLES. He is probably the only one on this Earth who I trust with my music completely."

Songtitles set to appear on the CD include:

* Crush
* Appease An Angry God
* Master Becomes The Slave
* Feels Like Blood
* Disfigure
* They All Fall Down
* Live In Fear
* New Breed Of Violence
* I Am Your Enemy

Gaines previously stated about the new material, "'Disfigure' will be our first record to feature Dave Chedrick (drums) and Angelo Espino (bass),and will certainly be a speed/thrash feast in the old-school vein."

ANGER AS ART's latest album, "Callous and Furor", was released on October 31, 2006 via Old School Metal Records.
