Brazilian metallers ANGRA entered Norcal Studios in São Paulo, Brazil on February 17 to begin recording their seventh studio album, to be released in the second half of 2010. For the first time since its inception, the band is self-producing the as-yet-untitled follow-up to 2006's "Aurora Consurgens", which will be a conceptual effort and will include 10 songs.

Commented singer Edu Falaschi: "Be prepared to hear one of the best albums in the history of ANGRA! It's secure! It will be a real masterpiece and [it will be followed by] the best tour of ANGRA! Power and quality, everything with the same magic like in the best moments of the band's history!"
