ANIMA released its debut album, "The Daily Grind", in August via Metal Blade Records. The CD was recorded at the Rape Of Harmonies studios in Triptis, Germany. "We invested a lot of time and work into this album and are extremely proud about the final result," stated Justin Schüler.

ANIMA formed in the summer of 2005 under the name of METMACHINES before renaming itself TODAY HEAVEN'S DYING and eventually settling on the ANIMA moniker. The band completed its debut CD, "Souls of the Decedents", in the summer of 2006 at 138 Studios in Ellrich. This was followed by the recording sessions for "The Daily Grind" mini-CD in the fall of 2007 at Slaughter's Palace and Rape of Harmonies studios, but this effort was never released.

ANIMA is:

Robert Horn - Vocals
Justin Schüler - Bass
Steven Holl - Guitar
André Steinmann - Guitar
Benjamin Kühnemund - Drums
