ANNIHILATOR Drummer Teaching At Berklee College Of Music's Percussion Festival
June 19, 2005ANNIHILATOR/SHATTER MESSIAH drummer Robert Falzano will be teaching at Berklee College of Music's 2005 Percussion Festival the week of June 27. He will be once again sitting in for drum legend Mike Mangini (ANNIHILATOR, EXTREME),this time in a scholastic environment, teaching one of Berklee's rock drum classes.
As previously reported, SHATTER MESSIAH, the new band featuring Falzano and former NEVERMORE/ANNIHILATOR guitarist Curran Murphy, have made five audio clips from their unreleased debut EP available for download in the "Multimedia" section of their web site.
SHATTER MESSIAH's sound is being described as "a viciously intense mixture combining Curran's hardcore metal roots with classic thrash and power goth, resulting in compositions of over-the-top aggression and melodic skill (containing subtle hints of the bands Curran has been affiliated with in the past)."
