ANNIHILATOR Mainman Interviewed By Norway's PULS (Audio)

October 21, 2010

Marius Nilsen of Norway's Puls.no conducted an interview with guitarist/founding member Jeff Waters of Canadian thrash metal veterans ANNIHILATOR on October 18, 2010 at John Dee in Oslo. Jeff talks about the band's new self-titled album; his disappointment with 2007's "Metal" CD; why guitarist/vocalist Dave Padden is the longest-"surviving" member of ANNIHILATOR; and what albums from his career and which ANNIHILATOR lineup/tour he thinks are the best from these past 21 years. You can now listen to the chat using the audio player below.

ANNIHILATOR's concert at John Dee in front of approximately 250 fans marked the band's first headlining gig in Norway ever (after supporting JUDAS PRIEST way back in 1991 and playing with TRIVIUM and ICED EARTH on two separate occasions during 2007).

ANNIHILATOR recently signed with Steve Strange of the U.K.-based booking agency X-Ray Touring. Steve (who also handles EMINEM, COLDPLAY, SNOW PATROL, QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE) stated, "I am very proud to be working with ANNIHILATOR as their international booking agent and look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with them. This is one band that you must see live."

ANNIHILATOR's new self-titled album, was released in Europe on May 17. The CD was made available in Europe via Earache Records, in Japan through Marquee and in Australia via Riot Entertainment. It was also released in the U.S. and Canada via iTunes and most all other digital/online outlets.
