ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY: New Album Artwork Unveiled

The cover artwork for "The Reign Of Darkness", the new album from the U.K.-based death metal act ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, can be seen below. The CD is scheduled for release in January 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records worldwide (excluding the U.K.).

Drummer Lyn Jeffs recently quit ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY in order to focus on his other band, INGESTED. A replacement skinsman has not yet been announced

ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY's debut album, "Before The Throne Of Infection", will be released in North America via Earache Records. The LP will first be made available digitally on iTunes on November 3 before getting a physical release in the New Year with a bonus DVD. The album has been licensed from U.K. metal label Siege Of Amida Records and was first released in the USA by Ferret/Siege Of Amida Records in 2008.

ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY is set to support CANNIBAL CORPSE on the U.K. leg of their European tour in October.

Commented frontman Steve Regan: "We are all really excited that 'Before The Throne Of Infection' will be coming out on Earache Records in the U.S. They're a hard-working label that has released some of our favorite CDs and have worked with some amazing artists like DECAPITATED, CARCASS, IRON MONKEY, etc. over the years and a great bunch of guys."

ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY will play a special live show on November 3 at the Barfly in London, U.K. The show will be filmed for an exclusive DVD, to be included with the USA release of "Before The Throne Of Infection".
