ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY: 'The Reign Of Darkness' Track Listing Revealed

"The Reign Of Darkness", the new album from the U.K.-based death metal act ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY, is scheduled for release in January 2010 via Nuclear Blast Records worldwide (excluding the U.K. where it will be made available through Siege Of Amida Records).

"The Reign Of Darkness" was recorded at Foel Studio in Wales and was engineered by Chris Fielding. The CD was mixed by Erik Rutan (HATE ETERNAL, MORBID ANGEL, CANNIBAL CORPSE) at Mana Recording Studio in St. Petersburg, Florida.

Commented the band: "Well, it's been a long time in the making but 'The Reign of Darkness' is finally finished. We can't wait for you guys to hear this album and we know you'll love it. We're also very honoured that our good friend and total all-round nice guy and legend Erik Rutan worked on this with us and contributed vocals to the track 'Bone Crown'."

The U.K. version of "The Reign Of Darkness" will include a special bonus DVD, limited to 1,000 copies only.

Drummer Lyn Jeffs recently quit ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY in order to focus on his other band, INGESTED. A replacement skinsman has not yet been announced

ANNOTATIONS OF AN AUTOPSY's debut album, "Before The Throne Of Infection", will be released in North America via Earache Records. The LP will first be made available digitally on iTunes on November 3 before getting a physical release in the New Year with a bonus DVD. The album has been licensed from U.K. metal label Siege Of Amida Records and was first released in the USA by Ferret/Siege Of Amida Records in 2008.
