ANTERIOR Parts Ways With Drummer, Seeks Replacement

March 31, 2008

Welsh metallers ANTERIOR have issued the following update:

"Ross [Andrews, drums] has decided to pursue a new career and wishes to leave the band as soon as we have a replacement. So we need a new drummer as soon as possible. We are preferably looking at someone between 18-25 based in the South Wales area and must be 1,000,000% commited with their own gear and transport. However, if you are interested and think you can do the job but live elsewhere, then get in touch. Anyone interested please send your details and previous experience to: [email protected]."

ANTERIOR's debut album, "This Age of Silence", was released last year via Metal Blade Records.

According to a press release, ANTERIOR formed in 2003 when a group of 17-year-olds "set out to create an epic sound combining thunderous riffs, technically exceptional guitar work, relentless drive, and an abundance of melody that they still wield today. And the end result? ANTERIOR forged a unique style that captures an ever-growing army of fans! In the band's short yet illustrious career (the group's members are now between the ages of 20 and 21) ANTERIOR have risen above all, to share stages with household names: DRAGONFORCE, THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, HIMSA, and 3 INCHES OF BLOOD, to name but a few. Together with these high profile shows and extensive local radio play, ANTERIOR have proven that they push the boundaries of modern musicianship to a new level, competing with bands much older and more established than their selves."
