ANTHRAX: 'Among The Living' Lineup Confirmed For Italy's GODS OF METAL Festival

Italian concert promoter Live ( has announced that ANTHRAX's legendary "Among the Living" lineup will perform a reunion show at the Gods of Metal festival, a two-day event scheduled to take place June 11-12, 2005 at Arena Parco Nord in Bologna, Italy. ANTHRAX's lineup for the show will consist of the following:

Joey Belladonna - Vocals
Dan Spitz - Guitars
Frank Bello - Bass
Scott Ian - Guitars
Charlie Benante – Drums

According to Live, this lineup of ANTHRAX will only perform at festivals in Europe, so this will be the only chance for the Italian public to see the band live on their 25th anniversary tour.

ANTHRAX's "Among the Living" lineup is also scheduled to perform at the Dynamo Open Air festival on May 7 in Hellendoorn, Holland.

ANTHRAX are said to be planning a series of concerts featuring Belladonna, Spitz and Bello this summer, including an appearance at the 10th anniversary edition of Ozzfest. Sharon Osbourne is believed to have promised ANTHRAX a slot at this year's Ozzfest but only on the condition that they perform with the classic lineup that was responsible for some of the band's most successful albums.
