ANTHRAX Guitarist: 'I Have The Utmost Respect For Japanese Society And Culture'

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian has posted the following update via his MySpace page:

"Six-hour layover at Narita airport on my way home [from Japan's Loud Park 06 festival, where ANTHRAX performed this past weekend]. I recommened the foot massage.

"Great show in Osaka last night. Went to Rock Rock (a rock bar) after with Charlie (Benante) and Frank (Bello). Great hang with Dave Mustaine and James Lomenzo (from MEGADETH). I wish we had more shows together. Maybe we will...

"Japan is a special place. You get treated better here than anywhere else in the world and I have the utmost respect for Japanese society and culture. They just do it right."

As previously reported, the "My Dinner with Anthrax" episode of the classic TV sitcom "Married… with Children", featuring a guest appearance by ANTHRAX, will finally be made available on DVD in December. The episode is part of Sony Pictures Home Entertainment's release of the sixth season of "Married... with Children", due out on December 19. The three-disc set will include all 26 episodes (600 mins) of the series, and is currently available for pre-order from Amazon.com. Each member of ANTHRAX has a couple of lines to say in the show and the band performs "In My World".
