ANTHRAX Guitarist: Sharing Stage With MEGADETH Is A No-Brainer For Us

August 12, 2005

ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian has posted the following message in the "Forums" section of the official Gigantour web site, Gigantour.com:

"Sorry it's taken me so long to get my bald head in here and talk with you all. We just finished up a European tour and I'm currently home on a break mostly eating and catching up on movies, records, boxing and TV ('Six Feet Under' rules!).

"Anyway, on behalf of ANTHRAX, we can't wait to get out there and play on Gigantour. To get to share the stage with MEGADETH is always a no-brainer for us. I think the combination of ANTHRAX and MEGADETH makes a perfect metal show. I don't need to explain, we've played together enough to prove my theory. And if you've never seen us together, now you'll understand. I am also stoked to be getting back to Edmonton, Calgary, Vancouver, Seattle and Portland. It's been waaaaaaaaaaaaay to long my friends. We've got 40 or so shows under our belts with the reunion lineup and the band is kicking ass.

"That's all for now. Speak to you soon."

"Scott

"P.S.: I can't wait to see [LIFE OF AGONY]!"
