May 7, 2011

ANTHRAX, HELLYEAH and DEATH ANGEL joined forces for the "Sonic Attack" concert at the Esplanade in Bangkok, Thailand on May 2. Check out video footage of the performance below. Also available is video footage of the May 1 press Bangkok conference featuring ANTHRAX guitarist Scott Ian and HELLYEAH drummer Vinnie Paul Abbott.

ANTHRAX's previously announced Japanese tour, which was slated to kick off on May 5 in Tokyo, was "postponed." The band stated, "We are currently working to reschedule and hope to announce new Japan dates soon."

SEPULTURA guitarist Andreas Kisser will play 11 shows with ANTHRAX in July as a temporary replacement for Scott Ian, whose wife, Pearl Aday, is expecting the couple's first baby.

ANTHRAX's long-awaited new studio album, "Worship Music", is tentatively due in September via Megaforce Records in the U.S. and Nuclear Blast Records in Europe.

Vinnie Paul Abbott said in a recent interview that HELLYEAH will enter the studio later this month to begin recording its third album for a tentative October release.

HELLYEAH's sophomore album, "Stampede", sold 28,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 8 on The Billboard 200 chart.

HELLYEAH's self-titled debut CD opened with 45,000 units back in April 2007 to land at No. 9.
