March 6, 2006

Danish melodic progressive power metal band ANUBIS GATE will enter the studio this summer to record their third album. The CD will be produced by Jacob Hansen (RAUNCHY, INVOCATOR),who is also the new lead singer in the band. This will be Jacob's first vocal preformance with ANUBIS GATE.

In other news, ANUBIS GATE won the Internet-based contest Heavy Metal Eurovision, beating out more than 40 participating bands from all European countries. The group's 2005 album, "A Perfect Forever", is now out in South America via the Brazilian label Encore Records. The South American version of the CD features a bonus track.

"A Perfect Forever" was released in Europe last September via Locomotive Music. The follow-up to 2004's "Purification" was produced by Hansen and features cover artwork by Mattias Norén.
