ANVIL CHORUS: Another Song Posted Online

After three successful San Francisco reunion shows, influential '80s progressive NWOSFHM (New Wave of San Francisco Heavy Metal) band ANVIL CHORUS has wrapped up mixing 12 songs for a tentative late 2008/early 2009 release. The tracks are all re-recorded, new versions of the popular cassette demo songs that have been widely traded in the worldwide metal underground for the past 25 years. These cuts have been updated and have recieved quality production. The sessions are being produced by guitarist Thaen Rasmussen and vocalist/bassist Aaron Zimpel along with guitarist Doug Piercy, drummer Joe Bennett and keyboardist Phil Bennet.

Another early mix — "Blue Flames" — is available for streaming on the ANVIL CHORUSMySpace page.

The band previously stated: "We have been working closely on the cover art with Bay Area graphics God Mark DeVito who has recently completed the new MOTÖRHEAD album ('Motörizer')! The cover is awesome and visually sums up the ANVIL CHORUS ideal."
