ANVIL Mainman To Celebrate 50th Birthday At Upcoming Gig

ANVIL mainman Lips (real name: Steve Kudlow) will celebrate his 50th birthday at Heads or Tails Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada February 25 (Lips' actual birthday is March 2). The group are also scheduled to perform at The Vatikan in Toronto on February 18. Also appearing on thebill are HEAVILY MEDICATED and TRIPCHORD.

ANVIL have tentatively set "This Is Thirteen" (or "TIT" for short) for their upcoming thirteenth studio album. 13 songs are scheduled to appear on the CD, the cover for which will be a superstitious theme, as in a broken mirror, black cat and the anvil under a ladder.
