APIARY Parts Ways With Singer

August 10, 2006

APIARY, the San Francisco Bay Area band formed out of the ashes of local favorites CLEARING AUTUMN SKIES and SOMETHING MUST DIE, has issued the following update:

"We have had a major line-up change in the last month. Vocalist Jason Ingram has left the band; there is no need for any details as we are all still close friends. Peter Layman has moved from his guitar duties into the singer spot and Chris Brock has come into the band as our new guitarist. We are currently making a video for 'Descent' that we hope to have done by September. We are also planning a short tour with THE ABOMINABLE IRON SLOTH (Goodfellow) at the end of September."

APIARY's debut album, "Lost in Focus", was released in May via Ironclad Recordings (the label formed by UNEARTH frontman Trevor Phipps). The disc was recorded at Castle Ultimate Studios in Emeryville, CA with Zack Orhen.
